SKATE NIGHT - FAMILY EVENT
Nativity PTO is hosting a Skate Night on Thursday, March 30th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Olahrama Family Skate (formerly B & D Skating Rink) 13903 E. S. TALENT SHOW SIGN-UP FORM
The Student Council is excited to host the Talent Show/Fine Arts Day again this year! If you have a student that is interested in performing, have them fill out this form . Please return to the school office by Friday, March 31. We will send out audition times when all forms are turned in so parents know when to pick up.
LITTLE WOMEN - SPRING PRODUCTION
Nativity of Mary Theatre presents: Little Women! Our middle school actors and actresses have been working hard to put on a fabulous show! We have three performances coming up - Friday, March 31 at 6pm and Saturday, April 1 at 1pm and 6pm. Tickets are $2 at the door and there will be concessions for purchase. GRANDMA ROSIE’S ROLL SALE - DUE MONDAY MARCH 27th

Help raise money for Nativity school by purchasing Scrip Gift Cards - physical gift cards, reloadable cards or eGift cards for items you are already buying every day. Order gift cards for many major brands through our SCRIP Gift Card program and Nativity will receive a percentage of each sale from the brands purchased. Use gift cards to purchase everyday items - food, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline from popular, local stores (Target, Best Buy, Lowe’s, Pizza Hut, Chipotle and many more). You will receive full face value for the gift cards you purchase and the school makes a percentage of the price (2% to 15%)/

FOOD DRIVE - 8th GRADE SERVICE PROJECT
Mrs. Suthoff’s 8th grade class is sponsoring a Food Drive that runs through April 6th. There will be a classroom competition. 1st place wins a PJ day and extra recess. 2nd place wins s free dress day and 3rd place wins an extra recess. Items needed: spaghetti sauce (10 points), canned fruits or meats (5 points), other items (1 point).Your donations will help fill food pantry shelves at Catholic Charities, to serve and to lift families and individuals in need. It’s time once again to share your gift of life for those in need. The Community Blood Center blood drive will be Monday, April 3rd from 1:30 to 5:30 pm in the Nativity of Mary parish hall. FREDDY’S FUNDRAISER
Nativity of Mary PTO is sponsoring a fundraiser at Freddy’s on Tuesday, April 25th at the Raytown location on 350 Hwy and Raytown Road (10019 E. 350 Hwy). Hours are 4:00 - 8:00pm. SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Elmer and Rita Henry Family Legacy Scholarship
There is a $500 scholarship available for families that will have 2 or more children/grandchildren at Nativity for the 2023-2024 school year. Any student in the family can submit an essay (300-500 words) about “What my family means to me”. Essays need to be turned in by April 14th. Click here for more information .
Jack Galvin Scholarship
Students in grades 3rd-7th are eligible for the Jack Galvin Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who is actively involved in community service, exhibits an outstanding work ethic and possesses a love for people just like Jack Galvin! Four students will receive a $1000 scholarship that will be awarded for one year towards tuition for the 2023-24 school year. Students must submit an essay/application by Tuesday, April 11th. SCORE ONE HEALTH SCREENING
On Thursday, April 20th students in grades K - 8th will participate in the annual Score 1 Health Screening sponsored by Kansas City University (KCU). Nursing students from Research College of Nursing will assist in the screening. Students will be screened in the following areas: hearing, vision, height/weight and blood pressure. Results from the screening will be sent home a few weeks after the screening. Please fill out and return the participation/permission form to the school office. NATIVITY FAMILY FUN FEST
Family Fun Fest celebrates the children of our parish and school. The festival is Sunday, April 23th, 11:30 am to 2:30 pm in the school parking lot. Carnival games and booths are sponsored by Nativity organizations and ministries: cake walk, musical chairs, face painting, fire truck rides, Bingo, cotton candy, popcorn and hot dogs and much more. School parents can help support the carnival by donating prizes (carnival trinkets) or bags of candy. Monetary donations are always welcome.
