The mission of Nativity's PTO is to provide the opportunity for parents and teachers to work together for the good of all our students. Nativity's parent-lead PTO partners with the staff to create a successful educational experience for all children at Nativity School. We do this by:
1. Raising funds to supplement and enhance educational needs at Nativity School, including financial support to classroom teachers and purchasing supplemental materials.
2. Sponsoring events and projects for the benefit of Nativity students.
3. Working to achieve a closer relationship between parents, teachers and administrators.
4. Encouraging a positive and supportive atmosphere to enhance students' educational and extracurricular experiences.
As a Nativity parent, you are automatically a member of PTO. PTO meets once a month and there are no fees to join. We rely on many different skill sets to accomplish all of our goals and we have room for ANYONE who wants to get involved – from stay at home parents to full-time working professionals. We welcome EVERYONE and we would love to see YOU involved this year! Many of our volunteer opportunities can be done at home.
