Liturgical Ministries

Parish Liturgy Committee
The Parish Liturgy Committee works to prepare liturgies, coordinate ministers, provide practical formation for parishioners, and evaluate feasts and seasons of the liturgical year. This committee is responsible for designing and seasonally decorating the Church. This committee does not meet year-round, but meets the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm in the Ministry Center when needed.  

Music Ministry
Adult and youth parishioners who sing.  They work with the music director to lead the community in song during weekend Masses and at special liturgical celebrations. 

Lectors
Adult and youth parishioners who proclaim the Word of God at daily and weekend Masses as well as special liturgical celebrations. For those wishing to join this ministry, please see the Divine Worship webpage for upcoming trainings within our Diocese. 

Usher/Greeters
Ministers of Hospitality who greet and welcome people as they enter Mass, collect the offerings and assist in case of need during the liturgy. 

Extraordinary Ministers
Ministers who assist in the distribution of Communion at Mass.

Altar Servers
Youth (4th grade and older) who assist at the altar during weekend Masses and special liturgical celebrations.

Altar & Rosary Society
Ministry open to all women and men of the parish. Responsible for the upkeep of the church, altar, vessels, linens and candles.
